GOD: Who could be more lovely than God, and where does one start in describing what God has done?! The focus of this section specifically discusses God's Nature and Being as we've come to know Him. Our Home page mentions this is an alternative Christian site. By that we mean it is not bound to traditional orthodoxy. You could experience any range of emotion if you read through this material. It depends on your background. Our hope is that you will be encouraged and strengthened in your faith, though we are not naive about religious resistance to ideas considered historically unorthodox. Our advice: Don't let orthodoxy blind you to revelation about God, or harden your current understanding of Scripture. Besides, there are many "orthodoxies" out there, not just one! As Paul says, "So then, my dear friends, continue working out your salvation with fear and reverence" (Phil 2:12). In the end, God is not going to judge "orthodoxy," He's going to judge our lives.
